How do I put a blog onto my ASP.Net website?

    Hey everyone .....!

I've never actually finished a website with ASP.Net.

I'd like to put a blog on various pages. I'd like a different blog for many of the child portions in the Master/Child web page. However, I've never even tried this before. How should I begin?

May you have a blessed day as the Lord wills.

    Hi,

You can check various of blog applications available at Codeplex: http://www.codeplex.com/site/search?query=blog&ac=8

Once you decide which one you are going to use, we can help you how to integrate it into your own website. But I thing that best thing to do is to separate blog app from the main app. Otherwise, best choice will be to use some CMS solution.

    Hello Experts .....!

Thanks for your feedback. however I don't fully understand. Why are Blogs so complex that they require third party software? Wouldn't be easier to just place a text-box on a webpage and write the necessary code for a few buttons immediately outside that text-box?

So, why should we use this third party software? I don't get it. Am I forgetting something? If so, please let me know.

    May God bless you.
