How do I properly add a Facebook share button to my site?

I present videos on my site. There's one video per page. I want people to be able to share each video page on Facebook. When they hit the Share button, I want the right information (i.e. the video's title, description, thumbnail, etc.) to be shared. I also want to see share analytics on Facebook.

How exactly do I achieve all of this? Is the following correct?

1. Register as a Facebook Developer.
2. Claim my domain for Domain Insights.
3. Add an app so that I've got an app ID.
4. Add the Share button to each video page.
5. Add Open Graph metatags to each video page, displaying the right information.

People can then share with the right information, and I can see my share stats in Domain Insights.

Is that correct?
