How do i promote my site for traffic? need help

    hi i just started my own website about 2 weeks, few days ago i finished design, and now i just need traffic. i uploaded to google and yahoo, but what's next? how do i start????? errrrr, expert advice needed

    Try to post somethings on Digg or Reddit or etc..... This will boost your traffic.

    Be sure your content is relevant, your site design is acceptable to Google's spiders, and begin building inbound links from directories, and other relevant content sources. Go here to find tons of free and paid directories to submit your web site to. It has been most helpful to me, and many others in DP I'm sure.

    All major search engines weigh pretty heavily on inbound links, but be sure they are related to your site's content.

    Also, if you have a budget for advertising, you cannot go wrong with Google AdWords, in my opinion. I use it for my web site with great success.
