I have a new Wordpress blogging community that I am having a hard time promoting. Specifically, I need a small contingent of seed users so that I can work on the functionality of the site, which will be similar to Tumblr. I've tried both advertising on Craigslist and offering to build free blogs to those posts looking for web design. I've tried hiring bloggers through Elance, but that started looking very expensive. I've posted my site on startup focused sites, with little traffic so far. Any ideas out there for getting a new blogging platform in front of a lot of eyes?
