How do I present my project anonymously?

I come from a country where not much is happening regarding startups, apps and tech, so people are not talking/writing about it much and it's not hard to get into news.

My country is not the best to start with but we would like to get some media attention to see what's gonna happen and to get some feedback about our app.

We would like to get some media attention but anonymously, meaning that we would like to intrigue journalists by not telling who we are but only to tell what we created and why, to create a mystery about it (and to avoid getting fired from our jobs).

I already saw people doing it called themselves undergrounders or something like that. The problem I'm having is how to approach journalists to intrigue them to write about us and our product (which is not super new and unique but could be presented as it).
