Or 7MB's...or whatever. I'm trying to advertise a one page html start page I created and to post the ad it says I have to upload the file. But one page seems to be too large a file to accept even as a compressed zip.
If your start page is that large, you have a SERIOUS coding problem with it. You should fix that problem first, then upload it. Most likely your start page was generated by Turdpress, or some other bloated CMS that outputs ten times the code needed thereby making your start page needing, as @deathshadow says, to be taken out behind the woodshed and put down.
The size of the unzipped page is 32.9 kB. It has 328 text links. It's not wordpress...I did it myself in a notepad. Is that large for a single html page? What if someone wants to sell a 5-50 page site on DP? This posting system makes no sense.
Where are the moderators or admin? I'm not signing up for a twitter account just to speak to someone at DP so I can place an ad. I want to buy a thread in the DP marketplace and have questions. You sell services to people...why no regular email contact? Is this website being managed or not?
Well then! You certainly gave them all a piece of your mind. I'm sure there will be big changes from now on!
I think I've been quite fair. DP is offering a service...and they seem to be ignoring people who would like to use the service. Do you think I'm wrong here?
Something does not add up here. If there is a 1MB file size limit and your file is only 32.9 KB, then there should be no issue. So, either the limit is wrong OR your page is larger than you think OR there is something else totally unrelated causing a problem.
There is hardly a week that goes by where at least one or more of my posts doesn't get deleted. I've received more infractions (warnings) than I can count. I've also been banned once or twice. I for one have never felt ignored by the staff.
