    go to your Command Prompt and type in "ping www.yourdomain.com"

    Type Command Prompt,

    type ping "your domain name . "ext"

    Simple:
    Start:
    RUN:
    Type CMD into the run field.
    When command prompt shows up type Ping www.example.com an you have pinged your server.
