How do I ping my blog?

    Do blogs auto ping or do I have to do it. I have a WordPress 2.7.1 blog.

    Where can I ping it?

    Wordpress will automatically ping for you unless you turned it off in settings.

    I usually ping my blog at these sites which are

    feedburner.com/fb/a/ping , ipings.com, pingomatic.com, pingoat.com, ping.in, pingmyblog.com, autopinger.com

    you can submit any of above and not necessary to ping in all sites.

    You don't need to specially ping your blog post. WP has inbuilt pinging option.

    Yep! Wordpress does ping it. I went to pingomatic and tried to ping and it said slow down cowboy you just pinged us. And I didn't ping since I started my blog.

    you need to ping it manually..on ping-o-matic, pingoat etc
