    Hi Gomes
    You can optimize your site by a person or a group. Basically two kinds of optimization, on-page and of-page. on-page is (remove stop word in URL,title tag, meta description,image alt tag, meta keyword, page title etc) and of-page is(Forums posting, question answer, social bookmarking ,backlink etc) and also need keyword research

    first of all you need to make a website analysis to find all mistakes (html code, the website speed, a number of outgoing/ingoing links..) then you need to analyze website usability to check its convenience for users (there are usability checklists available)
    then you do SEO analysis ( unique meta data, title and description for each page, h1-h6 tags, bold & italic fonts availability, images optimization)
    after this part is done you need everything necessary for correcting the defects.
