How do I optimise my website for search engine results?

Hey guys, I have read many posts concerning the development of links, however how would you suggest that I get my website listed on many search engins? Could you suggest a step by step instuction on how to do this effectivly?

Well, if you do the basics right you can climb the rankings on all search engines.

 

A sort anwser would be to get backlinks via directory submission, article wrting. Develop some contents on your website. Have a proper meta tags.

It is pretty hard to give a step by step method.

i think you must apply on-site seo to your site. search the "on-site seo" term. google will give you a start point

 

Create content that other people find interesting enough to link to you.

Well, my experience is to submit your sites to the best bookmarking sites + get high PR .edu backlinks + start your own Squidoo Lense...

These 3 things are free and fast to get traffic and catapult your rankings fast.

I think there was a fantastic thread with the best list of the highest PR and most trafficked bookmarking sites, posted by SEO expert Dp member (KNEB), that I used to get lots of free traffic in only days...
