How do I open a Yahoo account without a cell phone ?

You can verify your Yahoo account with a free phone number. I found a site recently which offers such service. They provide free phone numbers and only cost $0.5 for Yahoo verification code. You can have a look in their site: bulkcode(dot)net.

sorry dear there is no such method of making a Yahoo account without a phone number.

However, if you do not have any phone number, then you can consider going for some temporary telephone services, like Tempophone.
They will forward you the details of which you can make use to verify the needful.

Do you really need a Yahoo e-mail address or any other guy ? If interested to get just a simple e-mail address, then you can go to "mail.com" or "yandex.com". They do NOT ask for a phone number and is FREE 100 %. Maybe one day, they will change their minds as Yahoo and Gmail did. Your choice.

 

Don't count on Yandex. This is the message they gave me 5 minutes after signing up

 

Mobile Number is not at all needed to create the account. And no one is going to share her mobile number with an anonymous being.

You can use another email address instead of phone number. it's an alternative
