    I have had people tell me that I can get loads of traffic from naming my images so they show up in Google image search. Is there any way for me to do that using Blogger and how?

    What do you really want , you want to bookmark them or want to rename your images .By watermarking images you can get some good traffic .

    ALT tags to your images are what you need I'm quite sure. I have no idea about Blogger though! <img src="http://..." alt="your text">

    Alright. I think I understand. But I'm still not 100% sure what to put in the alt tags. Let's say I am using a picture of a dog. Would I use...

    <img src="http://example.com/dog.png" alt="dog, puppy, cute">
    Code (markup):
    or
    <img src="http://example.com/dog.png" alt="A dog I saw on my vacation.">
    Code (markup):
    ?
