I wanted to move my site to another webhosting. My site is in wordpress how to I move it to another webhost? Do I just need to copy the files and upload it to the other hosting site? what about the database? pls help me on this, thanks in advance.
1. backup your database 2. backup your wp-content 3. after you have install your site on new host, upload your backup file above 4. done

Goto cpanel file manager Compress complete public_html folder or the wordpress blog folder Upload the files to the new host under public_html goto new host cpanel extract the files. If you want to keep the same name that is fine or else goto old host phpmyadmin take the back up and upload to the new host. If you need any further help post here.
if you have cpanel its very easy just login to cpanel generate full backup and upload this backup in your new provider server the will restore your site just in 1 minutes

cPanel to cPanel moves are easy with most hosting plans. Most cross cPanel migrations are free with many hosting providers.
I suggest you to contact your new hosting provider and give them your current hosting control panel access to judge through the files and lend you a hand to migrate over instead of scratching your head at here.
