I don't know what you use your social media for, but I use it for traffic generation. When I am actually trying to get traffic to my clients websites, I use a trackable link. I like Budurl.com for this. Then you can go to budurl and see how many people are clicking the links. Not sure if this is what you needed to know but it's what I do. Plus I can show my clients that I am sending them visitors from their social media. Alan

Hi there! You can measure how your social media marketing works well. (I hope that I fully understand what you are asking here). There are lots of web analytic tools that can be used including the Google Analytics. Make sure you have your Google account already then start signing up with Google Analytics. You can set your website links there and all possible statistics Google Analystics will give you including social media marketing output. And also, if you have various social accounts in different social networks, you need to use a monitoring tool such as Netvani. Netvani provides one-stop access to all of your social accounts which helps you to allocate your time and effort in all of your marketing activities.
Check out Google Analytics to analyse how many hits are coming through Facebook. I think that is the best way of analyzing traffic through Facebook.
Why don't you make use of web analytical tool? You can also set tracking links 4m ur own site in order to check the number of people who actually clich through the link that you have distributed in the Social Media.
