Try to find niche sites, directories and exchange links with them. You need to also invest a few bucks in text advertisement.

Do you have a proper site (multimedia focussed) or is it a blog ? Anyways, original content always helps.

Also you could submit your site to various directories and also advertise thru sig links here on DP and other such forums !

Create a blog and share your experience, maybe you can join the ranks of web 2.0 and solicit other people experience and offer something of value to get them to submit their experiences as well.

In any case you can submit your blog to blog directories (remember it has your affiliate and website links on it which will get indexed as well) Search engines love fresh content and most successful blogs update their content at least 3-4 times a week.

Let me know how it goes.

Try site targeted Adwords. It's amazing how effective and not overly expensive this is. Make a list of appropriate travel sites that carry Adsense, particularly those sites with lots of traffic, such as online versions of major newspapers. Set a daily limit, don't bid too high and you'll get instant traffic.

Is your website a travel information site or travel booking service site? Not knowing that makes it difficult to give targeted advice. However, I can offer a few tips that work for me.

For any website - listing with the major search engines and quality on topic "link directories" should be one of the first steps in online marketing of a site. Beware the so called companies that offer automated listing services. Take th e time to list manually, and have as many variations of your site description for best results.

Setting up a PPC account with Google Adwords &/or Overture/Yahoo PPC is a good way to buy quality traffic. Using PPC campaigns can be costly for the inexperienced. So, if you are going to use this method I recommend you invest in learning as much as possible before diving in. The best places to start are by reading the forums on the topic and buying 1 or two Mainstream books on the topic.

If investing in the learning and trial-error is not your style, Find a marketing firm that specializes in PPC campaigns. Don't go cheap or buy into hyped up sales pages on the net. Find a reputable firm.

Another good source for targeted visitors is buying keyword targeted traffic. one Company that is delivering great results at reasonable prices is 4cws.com

This is just a place to start. there are many countless other ways to increase traffic back to your site.

    Good Luck.

    Alan,
