My blog, (in my sig.) was made a little more than a week ago. I have created unique quality content, submitted it to search engines, and I pinged all the major blog directories with every new post. I have motinized with adsense and some affiliate links. My question is: What now? Do I wait for more visitors? How do I increase my traffic and maximize my revenue? I'm not looking for the mega-secret magic solution. Just some basic tips.
Video Video Video If you can create and upload videos to Youtube ect. you can create a ton of traffic fast.
You could always writre reviews comments and post them on topic related blogs... its a brilliant way to get multiple benefits. Also... The free PDF file in my signature has some neat ideas!
Read my post "Ya lazy fools" in General Marketing section for tips on how to get more visitors. Use my "car salesman" technique in that same post to deliver more traffic. If that doesn't work for you, then you're not doing it right.

Search for free web directories and free blog directories to submit your site to. The backlinks will be useful later and there's a chance you'll get a little traffic from them. While your site is new you may also find that when people search for your site, they will find your submission to these directories before finding your actual site, so you will have more exposure. Article writing does much the same thing. If you write an article based on a post you've made, you can use your original post as a reference and get some backlinks and interested readers. Related blog comments and forum posts with your signature link will also help, but don't be too forward about wanting people to visit your site. Social networking sites can be useful if you have some information that is of general interest.
