How do i make SEO friendly category URL's?

    Is that by URL rewrite rule?

    for example i want category to be instead of:
    mydomain.com/index.php?c=1

    to be

    mydomain.com/blogs/

    In your script admin -

    Settings > Search Engine Optimization > Enable URL rewrite: Mark as Yes

    Then save the options.

    I did that, nothing happens. plus i checked the htaccess file to see if rewrite is on and it is.

    Then go to categories > Rebuilt Category Cache

    This would surely work.

    haha it was /blogs which is one of the category he was referring to in a directory..
    And anyways no one would have posted a doubt of blogs in directories section.
    And also, most commonly phpld things are asked in this section :)
