i have installed (or i am installing) a program witch requires you to get a free installation key from there site. to get this, u must hit the button on the installer to go to that page. my internet explorer is all f-cked up and will not work, and ofcourse when i click that button to get my installation key, it trys to open up in IE. i want it to open up with my safari browser. how do i do that? AKA, how do i set safari as my default internet browser

Make Safari the default browser to open when you click on a link in a document or when you double-click on an Internet location file in the Finder. Here's how:

    1. From the Safari menu, click on Preferences - General
    2. From the Default Web Browser menu, click on Safari

The General options in Safari also allow you to select how you want links within applications to open.

To select how you want links within applications to open in Safari:

    1. From the Safari menu, click on Preferences - General
    2. Select the Open links from applications option you wish to use. You can choose to have links from applications open in a new window by choosing Open links from applications in a new window, or you can choose to have them open in a new tab within the current window by choosing open links from applications in a new tab in the current window.
