I have a website, and affiliate program for it - i use Clickbank which handles the affiate IDs of usernames, and then pays the users their commision per refferal/sale.

I want to make my 'normal' affiliate program into a 2 or 3 tier program,

HOW DO I GO ABOUT THIS ?

do i need software ? need to install a script?

somebody who is currently doing a 2-3 tier program please speak from experience, and the best software you use.....

I am not 100% sure, but I don't think Clickbank offers this. I have always added a few Clickbank hosted affiliate programs to my affiliate programs directory and have never had a 2 tier one yet.

No, CB does not allow multiple tiers or monthly subscriptions.

Idevaffiliate only supports a 2 tier program.

Jim's right re CB - no such thing with CB. You'd have to track the affiliate and sub-affiliate relationships outside of CB. In that case you might as well go with paydotcom or an inhouse script that handles more than 2 tiers.

There's some out there. I wouldn't call any of them "best". It really depends on your needs re other features and pricing/quality.

I find that iDevAffiliate is commonly used accrossed the Web. I have an affiliate programs directory and I am getting alot of submissions from sites that use that affiliate program tracking software.

    Blast it

I have been looking for affiliate software (not MLM) that handles up to 12 tiers not just two tiers. I thought Idevaffiliate could do that.

Why dont these people make more that two tiers in the affiliate software?
Its really depressing trying to find things just right.

Try Post Affiliate Pro - we recently awarded them an Award of Merit. Their s/w goes beyond 2 tiers if needed.

    Cheers,

Check their demos and see for yourself. My 2c is that it's more functional/technical than most. i.e. not so marketing or user oriented. The features make up for it though. Also it's customizable (source provided) if you're willing to void the support.

IdevAffiliate has encoded source so you can't do anything if you need to customize the software for your needs.

    Hey there eyes2005!

Most Affiliate programs give you two links. The first one is for you to promote to potential customers/leads of the product and the second is for you to promote to the actual affiliate program itself, to potential affiliate marketers. If people sign up as an affiliate through your second link, then an agreed amount per lead/sale that they make goes straight to you.

Eg. e-WealthForum.com give you a link that looks like this for you to get sign-ups to their forum:
    http://hits.affiliatetraction.com/cgi-bin/redir?pd_link=xx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

For each sign-up that you get through your link, they pay you US$2.00.

But to promote the actual program - e-WealthForum.com/affiliates - they give you a link like this:
    http://ewealth.affiliatetraction.com/index.cgi?sponsorID=xxxxx

If you promote this effectively, then you will eventually be making money from your recruits efforts.

    Hope this helps!

Another product that goes 9 levels deep is Viral Sales Generator (not an aff link).

It treats all members as instant affiliates - for life - so with 1 referral link the member can make money from sales AND from recruiting.

I have been using a two tier program selling nutrional supplements, they have several affiliate supplement programs, but only their Freeze Dried Acai is a two tier program.

They will pay you via Paypal or Check, and its worked out really well for me.

If you have'nt heard of Acai, it is the hot new super food. I have been drinking it myself and am very happy with the results. That aside. The program is 30% of all direct sales and 20% of any sub affiliate sales. They have all the banners and text links you need, You can choose to have them send you an email when a sale is made, and you can track sales online. Actually this is the first affiliate program I have agressively promoted. I spent about $360 on ads last month and made $400 in commissions. So I actually only made about $40, but I am a rank newbie, my ROI has gotten progressively better during the month, and I made several rookie Adwords mistakes. This month I am hoping to get a 20%-30% ROI. This was only on direct commissions, this month I will also work on getting some subaffiliates, that should also add to my bottom line.
This is the URL to sign up as a affiliate http://tinyurl.com/yrnzc8
This is the URL to the one of the Acai product pages (Comparing it to monavie) www.a-perfect-acai.com

    Enjoy the tip
