How Do I Make My 5 Figures Income Per Month From Free Traffic

I have benefited a lot from this forum. Today is a time to give some thing back to this community. I thought I would reveal my sources of traffic which bring me 5 figures per month. [when I talk of 5 figures a month, its not in dollars but in British Pounds]

First of all, as some of you are aware that I am running several niche and location based dating sites. My traffic comes from the following 4 sources.

Organic / Free Traffic From Search Engines

I have optimised all my dating sites. I have added several related articles to all my different dating sites. The good thing about optimising dating site is that it is very easy to optimise them. With few unique articles and few back links, your site will start appearing in Google for those keywords. This strategy has helped me a lot to make serious money on line. I get thousands of unique visitors from Google every month.

Face Book Pages

I have created fan pages for all my dating sites. I have used keywords in page name in all my fan pages. This way I get free / organic fans on my fan pages and almost all of them end up as memebrs on my dating sites. For some dating sites, I have created 3-4 fan pages [again keywords in title of fan page], I created several pages to boost my site's visiblity in search engiens and on face book. In total I have 92876 fans on all my dating sites pages [this morning figures]

You Tube Videos

This is one of my favourite stratgey as I get thousands of visitors from You Tube evry month. I have dozens of videos on You tube. I have used keywords in all my video's titles to boost their visibility for those keywords in You Tube.

Yahoo Answers

This is another favourite stratgey as Yahoo Answers appear on top in search engines. I spent 2 hours every week on Yahoo Answers and it in return thousands of visitors every month from there.

I got 83000 Visitors from the above 4 sources in July. 14000 of them converted as members on my dating sites.If you ask any dating webmaster the true value of 14000 memebrs from highly converting countries, he / she will be able to tell you the true value.

My Advise to all members, use the above 4 strategies for your sites and you will see good income. I am not sure of other niche but if you are into dating, then these above 4 strategies will certainly change your income.

 

Great advice thank you. Like yourself I am from the UK, can I ask what sort of videos you are doing to get traffic as this is something I would like to have a go at.

 

I see you mentioned article marketing as one of the main sources of your income...Many people don't like article marketing and as a result look for shiny new ways to promote their website or blog...Article marketing is still effective and is excellent for getting backlinks to your site!

 

That seems like a super high conversion rate. How did you manage to pull that off?

Some of the videos are actors talking about my dating site... [encouraging others to register]
some of the videos... actors are engaged in dialogue about my dating site
some of the videos are simply slide shows of features on my dating sites..
some of them are just pictures of girls from my sites...

 

Some of these numbers seem quite exagerated to me...

For one thing, "dating" related keywords are very competitive. So to say it's easy to rank and you don't need many backlinks is completely inaccurate. Unless you're targeting long 4-5 word keyword strings (which are low traffic with little earning potential), you'll need tons of backlinks to compete with all the BIG BOYS for the highest traffic keywords.

As for using Facebook, I can see how it might be slightly beneficial for a dating site. But once again, it's by no means easy. Getting new followers and keeping them engaged takes lots of strategy and planning. I really can't see it being a huge traffic generator for a dating site...

Lastly, thousands of visitors from Yahoo Answers??? I highly doubt it! I've used Answers extensively in the past and it never generated that kind of traffic. Not only that, but your account will get banned if you keep mentioning the same website over-and-over. So unless you're extremely careful and limit how much you mention your website, you'll have to keep creating new accounts (and starting from scratch) for any long-term success. Not sure it's really worth it from what I've seen...

I totally agree with you it is very difficult to compete with Big Crocodiles on the web... but you don't need to target highly competitive words to make money... One need to target medium searched keywords to rank in the search engines. I have several dating site [ niche and location based] So what I do is to I target keywords which are based on locations such as American girls in London.. now adding a short article of 300 words to your site will start showing that article /site on Google [of course with few backlinks for that article].. With the Promo Tools used on every article page, the conversion rate is perfect from visitor to basic member... and for niche based sites, I always target medium searched keywords..

I created this page on 9th July 2012 [you can check it yourself, it was created on 9th July] .. there are 110 fans... I only brought 30 fans initially to it.. the rest of them are coming from search engines..
If you go to Google ... Type in Keyword Middle East Dating.. you will see my face book page there on page 2.. thats where fans comes from. Check the same page after 2 - 3 months and you will see thousands of fans there and you will see my page on Google's Page 1.. I bet you. Thats how it works.

Yahoo Answers... If you use Yahoo reasonably and don't break their terms and conditions, they will never ban you. I mentioned in my previous post that I have several dating sites [about 22] So I don't focus on one site. I mention all of them one by one.. And I don't mention my dating sites in every answer. I mention other unrelated sites in my answers as well.
let me give you example.
If I am answering 6 questions, then only once I mention one of my site, the rest 5 questions I would mention someone else sites [not dating related.. general sites, politics, immigration, religion etc]
By the way I am on Level 6 of Yahoo Answers, and I never broke their terms, so no question of getting banned.

I realize you have multiple websites, but I highly doubt you're pulling a 5-Figure per month income by just targeting long-tail keyword strings and using the strategies above. What you should clarify in your post, is that you're here promoting your dating affiliate program... and if you pull a 5-Figure per month income... you do it with affiliates

Look your niche probably is has low competitors and thats why you appear in google but tell how much time did you need to start having organic visitors ?? I think that you can have many visitors from facebook but you need to work and to interact with other fapages as well and this need time and work gradually!! How much time did you need also to start making money online ?

You didn't get my point. What I said in my previous post was to your response that it is very difficult to get fans to face book page. Now I gave you example that this page was created on 9th July and fans are coming from Google... I have about 75 pages on face book... I built fans page, bring initial fans to it and then leave it for search engines..After Initial 30 fans.. I never brought any fans to my pages as all of them come from Google. Thats why I mentioned that if you go to Google, search for keyword Middle East Dating and you will see my page there on Google's page 2...
90% of my pages are on Google's page 1 for specific keywords and thats how I get fans...

Once I create dating site or add articles to the existing one for specific keywords... then Create back links for it... My experience is if the targeted keywords has less than 1500 searches per month, that article / site will start appearing on Google's page 1 or 2 within a week time ...
if there are more searches for that keyword, then the article / site will take time to reach Google's page 1 or 2.. However once you have many articles already added to your site, and you have many members / visitors to your site,, then it won't take much time for your article / site to reach Google's page 1 or 2 for the specific keywords.. [Here I am referring to low or medium searched keywords]

FaceBook is a huge market and if right strategies are put in place, once can get thousands of visitors from there.. I don't interact with other's fans pages but I do interact my own pages with each other.. Cheers

Especially if you manage to get on page 1 of google with your answer.

 

Thats correct .. good thing about Yahoo Answer is that most of the answers will appear on Page 1 of Google...

This is very interesting. I never really thought about getting into the dating niche because it was heavily over crowded...Well So is IM (which im not in).

Members make payment to buy Gold membership [ Gold membership allows members to communicate unlimited with other members via various channels such as chat messengers, email exchanges etc] thats how we make money on dating sites...

No, I dont spin articles, I have 22 dating sites in different niches or in some case location based... so I need different articles for each of them .

 

Good tips and i am already doing it and hope soon i will also get good traffic.
