How Do I Make Money With A Poker Site?

I'm aware that I can't use Google, but what else can't I use? What can I use? The site isn't up yet, but it will be soon. Basically, the site won't offer gambling, it'll be more of a community. Any help would be much appreciated.

There are many other ad networks besides Google Adsense, like AdBrite, AdEngage and Crispads. If you do a search for something like "adsense alternatives" you'll find dozens more.

Besides advertisements on that, you can set a fix price banner for sale. Then promote them to the big site showing you got a lot of traffic.

You can use Adwords but not Adsense.

Poker is very competitive and you will need to come up with some very creative marketing solutions to generate revenue. Start with freinds and family, local advertising, etc. and maybe even join a few of the poker affiliate forums.

You can affiliate for poker rooms or sell your own advertising space to rooms and other affiliates.

I sell ad space on my poker forum (In my sig) and its good money.

    What is your site?

You should be able to use AdWords for advertising (I do). You just need to request approval. If the site is solely info, you should get approved.

Of course, if you are having issues with money, advertising for POKER in adwords probably won't be possible.

You can make a good deal of money, if you put in the effort, by referring poker players to poker rooms.

    Remember, content content content.

You can make alot of money with some of the large casino networks. www.goldenpalace.com is one of the largest networks. along with 888.com

You can be paid either on what potential punters spend each month, or a once off fee for referring them.
