I have developed a software for learning vocabulary and taking test on English Vocabs the software is free to download and the site is freevocabtest.com the software has many features and a warm interface I dont think relying on donation provide me much moeny, the input data of my software is a file of English words with definition and examples, however it needs specefic format to be imported into the software I already provided the 1000 most common SAT words in it, however other wordlists can be added too with these functions what is your suggeston to make money out of the software these are some ways, (which you recommend and which you can add) 1- nothing just relying on donation 2- put a price for software and provide free wordlists 3- a freeware software with some sample words, but put price on any wordlists (such as the 1000 most common sat words) 4- a freeware software with sample words but put price on registering to website and allowing registered users to download wordlists and import them to the software 5- a free software with limmited functions and puting the good feature in a software for sale. please advice me according to your experiences
Put a price on the software, offer "rebilling" and promote the product via Clickbank or a similiar site. You will have to have someone build you a nice landing page, and then continue working on new features/words each month. That way, they are paying MONTHLY to see new words. So you make money for each buyer, plus for every buyer who wants the service for another month or longer!
