i kind of have an idea...by affilate programs or an ad selling your products...but what's a safe method of making some cash online? i'm ready to purchase something to get going but am afraid of scams
Make your own blog and write about a topic you know and like. Then find products that fit well in the topic. Most sites like cj and others have something you could sell or amazon. You can also have adsense but that can take sales away. Your better off getting your own hosted word press blog in the long run.
Wordpress is good. You should get a domain. I don't have one because can't afford it right now but it's better for rankings. Make a plan, set a goal and write your heart out :
I have put together a little guide answering just the question you are answering, it explains a few nice ways of getting started and earning a few $$.See my Signature.. Good luck in what ever you do, remember hard work will lead to success!
Plenty of ways to do it, just read all the tutorials and eBooks. Tons of people can suggest things you can do which you don't like doing or your just no good at it. Never really works out that way
I don't think it's "a long way" to make money online; if you invest your money wisely, you can easily make more money than with your average day job in no time...
I have had good luck with membership sites, no inventory, everything is automated. But it can take awhile to see a nice monthly profit. The biggest mistake I have seen, is GIVING up to soon. When you find something you like, stick with it.
asking how i should make money online is like asking what should I be when i grow up.. there are heaps of possiblities and if we dont know anything about you how can we really suggest anything that would suit you?
Some people make a lot of money with Google Adsense, and/or Yahoo Publisher Network, and Clickbank and CJ, and DP and eBay. I think it depends on what you are at good at, what you have to sell, and how much you want to invest timewise and maybe moneywise. I have a site that I started in 2005 that I do not not and never have promoted, yet I get random income from 35USD a week to sometimes only 35USD a month from. I have thought about pursuing it further to make it more, but never do it. I fulfill the orders that are placed, it's all done from the internet, no product is shipped, it's an "Internet" or "Digital" service, I complete the order and say THANKS when it happens. I think it takes a lot of know how, dilligence, and having a great product or service to offer. There are a lot of DP members that are TOP GUN and give good advice!
Yo dude, alot of people are going to tell you to buy this, or buy that, but what you should really do is make some friends who will share info for free. Add in the fact that you need to TEST everything yourself. If you want to get in this business, there are skills you have to have: Copywriting - If you can't write very well, well, you'd have to outsource it, so I'd tell you to keep that in mind before even starting. Web Design - This is why Wordpress rules! Takes the hassle out of it. You can get a free one at Wordpress.com Self-Motivation - This is a commission only industry, so I recommend you only promote recurring membership type commissions to start with. Clickbank doesn't have much of a selection in this department. To really succeed, you need to become a keyword research master. Which keywords actually convert into sales? You know what I mean. You could do a ton of work for some bum keyword and not make any money, which would only piss you off, eh? Hit me up if you want some help dude. L
1. Identify your strengths, weaknesses and knowledge (do not do something you hate, you'll quit) 2. Read Here to find Method(s) then pick a path based on #1 3. Research a well-respected course and purchase then read 4. Keep Reading Here 5. Take Action Scams, don't worry, that's why you are here!
I can only suggest one thing. Don't read make money online blogs that flashes income. Waste of time. But yeah, what are your skills - sell services what is your passion - blog about it There are tons of ways to make money
WOW...alot of great input and advise and suggestions. Thank you guys. This may come across funny as to the reason why I even asked this question. I'll give you guys a somewhat short brief about me. I'm 39..a single father. I'm determined as ever to make more money for my son and I to live contently without worries. Of course any parent does. I'm a web designer and developer and know some php and asp and have a wide range of skills in my pocket. I know wordpress to a tee. I've built many of wordpress blogs. I've been in the web business for the past 7 years. In that time, I've learned alot of different things and to my luck I wasn't stagnant just doing design work or building websites in one certain format. I've become a project manager knowing and understanding what it takes to build a successful website to rank #1 in google. In fact I've attained that with the help of my previous boss. We've managed to keep our site #1 in google for over a year. I've built 'money making' websites for some of my clients. Some wordpress and some other projects with there sites but I never knew that would make a decent amount of money because they would never tell me! lol But i've been thinking for a long time..."Why can't I do this for myself?...I've been building these things for them for 2 years now." I like the suggestion of creating a blog and writing articles and having affiliate programs as well as reciprocal linking and adsense. I figure i'd have to purchase a domain and host as I know wordpress is free and have to purchase google adsense as well. Thanks for the suggestion guys...it was definitely a good read for me this morning. I'd love to share some of my ups and downs in here with my effort with you guys. We'll see how it pans out. Have a great 4th weekend guys!
Do the research on anything you are interested in. There are plenty of ways of making money online. If your going to create a website, create one that can bring you some residual income from referrals PM'D.
There are so many ways - have your own online store and sell stuff, promote other people's stuff on clickbank, sign up for an affiliate program or two... My best advice: concentrate on one thing at a time, if you try to ride many horses at a time you won't succeed! And be patient - it takes some time to build a business.
