Ho do I make an ebay storefront design like these? http://stores.ebay.co.uk/SB-Tooling http://www.auction-designs.com/hobbyplanet.htm http://www.auction-designs.com/bestofbritishdarts.htm Where do I start. I have CorelDraw so I can draw up the fancy buttons etc. But for the life of me I can not find any information, guide, how to article etc on how to make and ebay storefront design. All the free templates are crappy 1990's style. Am I missing something, but why is there no info on how to make these awesome looking stores? And how do I do it? Any help appreciated. Thanks, Peter Australia
I had the same problem, couldn't really find much info on how to customise my eBay store. Although eBay had a few pages on customisation they were just about the header and not how to style the navigation and sales boxes. I found this company, Frooition, paid the fee and now I have a great looking eBay shop - stores.ebay.co.uk/JUST-TOW-0800-6941427 Try these Keywords in Google - Custom eBay store eBay store design eBay store design tutorial Hope this helps If anyone knows of any decent tutorials on how to do this ourselves it would be greatly appreciated
WOW that looks Awesome. Yep that's what I'm after. What did that cost, and how long ago? Was it worth it? have you seen an increase in sales at all? Peter

It cost me like £600 and I had it done about 6 months ago. Yes, have seen an increase in sales, I'm finding people prefer to buy from me than my competition. I get comments on a daily basis pretty much on how good they think my eBay shop is. What are you selling? Only rec this if you aim to become a powerseller or else it ain't worth the investment.
ouch 600 pounds is like (at current market conditions) about $1424 Auzzie dollars...... I would like to do it myself but can't find any info on how to do it. I sell welding gear. Like mig wire, contact tips, nozzles etc etc. I do this full time on the road going from factory to factory. I have sold bits and pieces on eBay here an there, but would like to ramp it up a bit. First impressions really do count, so that is why I'd like to get a great looking shop. But them I think should I just make a totally seperate e-commerce site outside of feebay and use adwords etc for traffic. Peter
I'm not sure how technical you are but before we got the custom eBay shop we used to hand code auction templates using Dreamweaver. The only downside is that we still had to show the custom eBay header and sidebar. However we noticed a big increase in sales when we went from plain text auction pages to professional looking one. But we noticed an increase even more when we got the custom shop. Like you said, it's pretty expensive so maybe best to give it a go on your own first before you dive straight in, that's what we did and it's working for us. Good luck.
