Hi there, I just started using Google Analytics, so how would make some adjustments to improve your traffic? I can read the amount of visits, time, etc. However, I unsure what to do from there?? Much help is appreciated CHEERS
Well, you notice traffic sources that are more, you market there more. Place you get no traffic from, you dont waste your time. You notice your bounce rate high, you make changes and test on why people leave your page. Test, test test. Cheers, Mukul
Nice! I see now, so you don't waste your time on the pages that has no visits, etc, so you can build your traffic from there?? This might some time for me to improve. I can not wait to master it, and sky rocket my traffic ;D
First time Analytics users will find interesting to see so many data. But, over a period of time it will help you learn so many things. Example 1) You site will be based on specific keyword, but you might be getting traffic due to someones comment. 2) Which days in week are good in traffic ( so you can post best content on that day) 3) Traffic Sources 4) Visitirs Browser usage ( so you can test in those browsers) 5) Screen Resolution - How does your site look when viewed at resolution that most visitors use. Things like above will help you improve your site and analytics skills.
I recently deleted my analytics for some of my sites, I heard a rumour that sites are hard to rank with google spying on your every move is this true or a load....
To improve traffic get more backlinks, use link building and link exchange approach, make use of social media, use of best keywords, post comments in forums. Softworks Workforce
Thanks, just do it and make you traffic go higher. I notice a HUGE difference in my top sources and then my natural since the top ones I work on always to drive traffic. This is a good trip, make sure they are one way links though. Cheers, Mukul
