i have an animated gif image with a white background around a bee and i'd like to remove the white and only show the bee.. http://buzzirker.com/images/manbee_animated.gif - this image is on a white background so it lt looks like there is no background but there is..
Unfortunately there's no terribly easy way of doing this. If the animation was made in flash and you could some how get the original .fla file then removing the white background would be a doddle, however I get the impression it won't be that simple. The only way I can see you doing this is to download a .gif frame extractor, then edit the white background out of every single frame and then re-animate it in either Adobe Imageready, CS4 or Flash.
Thanks MhW for this reply, i am really having the same problem, i guess i will try the gif frame extractor and edit it on Adobe Fireworks, i haven't try using CS4 on making animated gif
