How do I limit the CPU and Memory usage for my site?

    I have just received an email from my host saying that my sites are using too much CPU and Memory. How do I limit that from my end? I have proxy sites by the way.

    Please help, thanks.

    You can only efficiently do this only if you have root access to the server and the best ans easiest way would be to install a vps program which provides these features.

    As an end user, we can only reduce the CPU and memory if there is a problem in coding. Also, high CPU and memory require if you have high traffic site. Generally proxy site eats high CPU then normal web sites.
