Create the updated site map, upload it to your site, then sign into "google webmaster tools" (it's free) and go to the sitemaps section. From there, you just give google the url of your sitemap, and click a button. Very easy. Good luck - let us know how it works for you.

Google will automatically crawl your website and will see that your pages have been updated so there's really no need to do anything if you have already submitted your sitemap using Google Webmaster Tools.

Just recreate the xml sitemap and Google will do the rest for you. Just use Webmaster Tools or a Ping Service to tell them there is a new sitemap.

Remember, the sitemap.xml file (for crawlers) is different than the sitemap.html file that help your users navigate the site. Google likes to see both - a sitemap for the user, and one for the crawlers. You can read more aout it on the google webmaster tools site.

No need to create a sitemap again. Recreate using same file name and upload it in server. Resubmit it in GWT .. You're done

AdWords webmasters tools has the option to resubmit your sitemap even though google revisits your site every so often, but if unsure just resubmit the sitemap, I do after each change that I make to the site
