How do I launch My new Site? I dumped $100K into it

Okay... So you can see from my signatures that I have some okay sites that I make okay money on. But I have invested a lot of time and Moolah into my new video upload/sharing website. How do I promote it? How do I do a public release?

I'm trying to do it right the first time so I don't fall flat on my face... The site is developed and functioning but with a few quirks on my new server after migrating from the test server. The new server resides in the US. I guess I need people to start uploading and sharing right? But how do I blast the premier of this site to the World Wide Web? (Did you know that WWW is the same as 666?)

Yes, submit it on social bookmarking sites and if it's that great then members on those sites will make it a real news, if you don't get any vote, well...

I am off my rocker... Yes, I do need more meds... Do you have any Cr@ck?

95K on PPC is way outta my league. My site is a video upload sharing site that I want to promote or do some type of Press Release. I know there are folks on here that know how it's done. I'm just waiting for them to spill the beans.

Streaming video sites are fueled by viral content. So go buy a video camera and video tape yourself riding a tricycle off a cliff or dancing to amish techno or something like that. Then upload that video to your site and submit it to as many social bookmark sites as you can. (start with stumble upon) That will drive a lot of traffic to your site and out of all that traffic, a select few will favorite your site and will start using it to upload.

But honestly, there are millions of sites like this on the web. If you really want to be successful, you are going to have to target the site towards a niche

Have you thought about article marketing?
    Sending out Press Releases?
    Social Bookmarking?

Have you thought about the $100,000 too?

    Target your keywords.
    Link exchange/buy links (high pr).
    Press release.
    Social bookmark.
    CPC.

If your site is amazing hopefully it will explode naturally. It would be cool if you came up with something you can offer which no one else is....short of that. Either build up slowly or spend loads on cpc to get your traffic up.

    Good luck

    Pretty much.

At least some people have given sound advice for this guy. If it's not a scam I would love to know how you plan on starting a website by dumping $100k into development and $0.00 into marketing.

I'm guessing he didn't get an MBA.

Its too much of an investment... you should submit it to a social network or a free directory. if its really a good site people will return back and upload so of more vids. You take the initiative to upload when traffic came people will surely give a shot to your site. Is this a premium site? if it is... try to shift to freemium approach.

If you spent 100k on a new video sharing site you are out of your mind. If you paid over $500 you are out of your mind, lol. You might make your money back in about 50 years, lol
