How do I know if this site is using wordpress or blogger?

    they are not using wordpress or blogger. It some kind of article publishing cms.
    Wordpress doesn't use urls like this.

    That site is written in coldfusion and frankly a bit a of a disaster. That is not a very good site to model something after. Go with wordpress.

    Usually wordpress or blogspot blog has footer links if they have not then look into source code.

    They are using custom cms.
