Hi people i have a couple of questions about niches and a list

when i'm searching for niches how do i know if i can start a list in that niche that not runs dry for info and is big enough so i can have a list of at least 10000 subscribers

is it possible to have a profitable list if my english spelling isn't the best and if so how do i do it?

is it a good idea to use content from ezinearticles?

    kind regards

Once you have the list what do you plan on doing with it?

Your keyword research should tell you if there is a good demand and not too much competition. Also check out the top sites that come up in a Google search for that niche. Look at their tags and what they are selling. Check their page rank and alexa rating to see if they are getting traffic.

Consider a niche where buyers must buy again and again. Take beauty products or vitamins for example. Your buyer is not a one time buyer.

It's fine to use free articles to create content rich webpages, but not the home page or landing page. That has to sell them on your knowledge and products. If you need help with the English, try hiring someone from elance.com to proof the pages for you.

    Hope this helps,

You can use articles from directories in your newsletter. Just remember you need to keep the resource box intact with live links back to the authors page.

That may be OK to pass along interesting content if you don't want to write it up yourself, but it gives your readers one more way to leave your newsletter or website through a link that does not pay YOU.

I would create new original content for the newsletter. As mentioned earlier if you are concerned with the language, have someone ghostwrite the content for you. It will be an added expense of course.

Additionally, as you find your niches, keep in mind you can have a very profitable list that is much smaller in size than 10,000. But if 10,000 is your goal you may need to work in more general areas as opposed to a very narrow targeted niche, which if you think about it will in some ways reduced the effectiveness of your list(not very targeted to your offers).

    Something to think about.

you can make use of thesaurus for the synonym for your site, to place it to the most appropriate niche.

It depends on the niche and whether you have just a few or many products to market to them. In the right niche, with a number of products to promote, a list as small as 100-200 can be quite profitable.

Having said that, you should continue to build the size of your list in every niche you work in. Just make sure the list members are targeted and not a bunch of looky-lous and tire kickers. It is the targeting of your lists that will make them profitable, more so than just their size.
