Some niches just weren't meant to be. I used to have a blog on my site, focused on indie animation, with well over 1000 articles hand written by me. This was before I had ever heard of article marketing or SEO. I was doing it simply because I wanted to. I was also getting up to 4000 uniques per day. Adsense revenue, though, was abysmal for, I believe 2 reasons. 1. The niche was small and most clicks were worth $0.01, and 2. The information people were searching for was on my site so there was no reason to click an ad and go elsewhere. When I eventually learned about SEO and article marketing I was able to improve things a bit, but I also noticed the passion faded. It became about clicks and making money and I was no longer doing it just because I enjoyed it. I eventually took it all down.
