Not easy to check, though you could have a look in adwords for the minimum bids and comapre with your earnings.

yes you need to look into the adwords to know the keyword pricing. If higher is the bidding in adwords and you are getting low CPC that mean you are not getting good price. and in other case you are getting good. :D

The symptoms of smart-pricing usually go something like this:
You put Adsense on your new website and are stoked because your average ePC is something like $0.98 .. you get only a few clicks, but if you extrapolate this by your expected traffic growth you calculate that you'll be rich within a year..
Then, 10 days later you get SmartPriced.. your ePC drops from $0.98 down to $0.02 .. you go looking for the rope and wobbly stool ... SmartPricing claims yet another victim ..

I don't see how adsense can survive with paying people .02 a click. It's impossible to make money, therfore they should lose publishers.

publishers don't have any other alternative .It's very difficult to get YPN account as yet. and those who have got YPN are only in USA.

So it's good to make something rather then making nothing :D

I'll take 1,000 Adsense clicks at .02 over 3 YPN clicks at .25 any day...
