I used to get 200 hits from google now getting less than 30 a day for those keywords..and my site of course is way out of the first page..its not on 2, 3 and even 6 th page for some of those keywords..

Wondering if that's kind of a penalty? Can someone help me understand whats wrong? I never had it earlier..this is the first time this is happening.

have you try to analyze the stats(for higher days) to your current stats? traffic from keywords, referral, rankings stats, etc?

Google data refresh and the changes in your content might be the cause of this.

Did you change anything major in your site recently?

Try to check out your google sitemap account and see if there is any changes with the targeted keywords as compared to before.
