    use backlinkwatch you can see how many backlinks you have.

    right, but google will not count all your backlink. Instead yahoo do a better job. You can search in yahoo like: link:http://www.yoursite.com

    Or I am using seobook's toolbar, it is good.

    You can checked your backlinks using different tools like backlinkwatch and yahoo site explorer...Their are others backlinks checker which you can choose from obcourse just search backlinks checker and search it in Google

    If you want to know how many backlinks you have made, check it by using free online tools. Check out backlinkwatch.com, that site will check how many backlinks you have for your site. It will also indicate if the link is no follow.
