Check your traffic logs. If you have been affected you'd definitely know about it. If not it's business as usual.

those are just major updates - but Google changes its algorithm on an hourly basis every single day - that's why I would say it is best to carry out white hat SEO only.

I did but it seems there's no official news about the algorithm update...Does Google really put this kind of news in their blog?

Here is what I know: With the arrival of "the mighty Panda," Google's changed the way it's ranking websites. The name of the game is how strong the content is in relation to the keyword, and more importantly, to the website that is providing a product, service or information.

    -Keyword stuffing is out
-Quality content and enjoyable user experience are in
-Backlink networks used to game Google's search engine results/rankings placements are out

Quality content is getting its throne back

You can choose to go with any of the good blogs that gives regular updates about Google, Microsoft, Yahoo etc. You can place an RSS feed on such blogs, so you will know when any of the changes or updates occur in the system of Google. You will never know when there would be next Google update, but one thing is for sure every Google update gives a big bang to the websites who does spamming or use black hat techniques in order to get traffic or to increase their search engine rankings.
