Hi. I viewed the source of a website and I noticed that they had some urchin stuff on all their links. My guess is this is how they track how often links are clicked. How do I keep track of how often certain links are being clicked?
via google analytics or statcounter. Check in page activity if its internal link and exit links or out links if it is an external link you are tracking
But I want to track that link specifically, statcounter I have a trial account and analytics is difficult to track specific links unless they're popular
hey, you can go statcounter.com and make an account there, give your site name and they will ask an option that to make a number of visitors visible or not...make it a button. so,that people visiting on your site wont able to know how popular or loaded your site is. This way you can keep a track how many people are visiting your site! thanks
You should have it a try to make your account on statcounter.com, and then you answer some options in which you can keep a track how many people are visiting your site!
yes,it is very easy to make an account there. make it today and you will see a difference that how much it helps! Thanks
One more way to keep the tracking of visitors is try the counter160.com and enter your url of ur site and u get the html code just paste it on ur site and see the result
counter160.com is also a good site to keep the track..did you try it any of these..i am sure you having satisfactory results Thanks
Where can one see "page activity"? Do you mean pageviews? If I click on that it only shows me how many pages have been visited and average pageview per visitor. It doesn't even show me what pages have been visited. Maybe I need to set up "Goals"? Sorry, I'm still new to GA.
Well, I just sifted a little more throught goals and it only allows me to set these up for my own pages. I'm interested in checking if people click through on my affiliate links however. Does startcounter help with that?
