So i got a sosimple vcard template i want to upload to my site, but i have no idea on how to do so, as i dont do this stuff lol all i do is design websites. I need to upload the files to my cpanel but where exactly do i upload them? If anyone can help, thanks a bunch,.
It's easier to use FTP than going through cPanel's file manager. Get yourself a free FTP program (e.g FileZilla), and upload your files to your root directory (probably something like "public_html"). Your FTP login and password will probably be the same ones that you use for cPanel.
Template should go in the published folder of your site...(not of your accaunt)... Usually it is html or something similar... After that, you can modify template and content...
Yeh guys i have put the folders/files in public_html on FTP and then i just get the index of.. and then all my files. take a look what i mean here.
use filezilla to upload the file to public_html .. if you have a different ftp program you can use it to uplaod.. most uploads go into the public_html folder. and also open fold and inside should be a read file(install or something to that nature) the tells you how to install that particular file.
