How do I install recipe database in WordPress

    I have a recipe SQL database, is it possible to install and use it in WordPress? It has catagories and sub-catagories, such as; "low carb" "salads" then recipes. Any help would be appreciated, databases are not my strong suit.

    if you recipe SQL database is a mysql database?
    because wordpress use mysql.
    and you database Table structure == wordpress mysql database.
