    Hello Fellow DP Surfers,
I am trying to figure out how to install a website on a Free Hosting server. Its a simple Flash site that I got for free at flashvillage. I have MacBook Pro With Mac OSX. Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance

Websites are usually uploaded through FTP. Did the freehost give you FTP access?

Some free hosts force you to use a builder to design the site preventing you from uploading your own content.

Yeah it's usually best to buy a really cheap hosting package. The free ones are hardly worth it.

I think godaddy starts less then $5 a month.

Even with the free hosts site builder you might be able to upload the swf's.

As mentioned above, buy a hosting package then you'll just need to upload it to the server.

    I use Mac OS X as well,I use Cyberduck,give it a try,it's free.

Thanks to all for the useful information! I do agree with the GoDaddy being confusing. I hate that site. you would think with the amount of money they pull their site could be a little more consumer friendly.
Anyway, Ill give this a try.
    Thanks again
