How do I install a comment box?

I would think this would be easy. I want them on my blog pages. Help lol.

 

You don't need to install it individually , it comes with the wordpress installation.

 

Mine doesn't work for some reason. I need discus or something. I couldn't get that to work either.

 

If you have the latest version of Wordpress you need to activate it. On the top right there's a "Screen Options", select "Discussions"

I know but it's a tiny link at the bottom of my main page that leads to a yucky looking box. That's not an appropriate place for a link to a comment box. I need a box for my blog posts and happy customers page that looks professional and isn't a hassle to use. No one is going to leave a comment there besides a spammer. If I add a discussion thread and make it #1 on another page it still doesn't work. Nothing works. I've been goofing around since January trying different things and I give up Lol can someone tell me what to do that I wouldn't have already thought of myself? I tried plugins to move the box and that didn't work either. I am going insane. I updated it this morning and activated the discussion settings, etc. It still doesn't work.

 

disquss plugin was good one for your blog comment.

 

I tried discus but it just put a link that said discus in place of the other link.

 

Try going to your discussion settings and turn on commenting , if that doesn't work , re-install your blog.
