social bookmarking will be of great of help to gain traffic. doing it regularly will have an increase on your site traffic.
Submit yr site in Digg.com, Reddit.com, n other potential Social Bookmarking. Even do some specific Forums & Classifieds. Definitely yr site traffic would be increase. Happy submitting!!
If I can get 2,000 views a day, I'll probably make more than $3.00 a day which is great for me. I'm currently using Digg, I just need more people to recognize me on digg than my site will get more than 2,000 views a day What if I just keep on writing posts, right now I only have 100 posts, if I wrote 200, will my traffic double, triple? If I get up to 1,000+ posts, how many people do you think will visit my site in a day?
I didnt read all the replies, but one way to increase and get new people is to do some sort of contest. Give away free money or a program that is relevant to your site. Send out a bunch of press releases and digg it, stumble it, post a bulletin on myspace promoting it. Good Luck
I think you can also add your blog to do follow site like D list and other directories with do fllow plug in since a lot of people are looking for such stuff of blogs.
I'll agree with the content versus advertisments, but I do have an issue with posting on craigslist as far as you need to make sure to read their rules and regs before soing something like that. I know that I actually had that same idea and was going to post advertisments for some sites I am attemptimg to promote (http://www.auctionworldimages.com, http://www.sell40websites.com, and http://www.achieveatgambling.com) and went in to make sure I wouldn't get flagged or anything along that line and gambling and money-making sites are a Big No No. A blog or personal site as far as I saw was o.k. and all, but I thought that I would mention this little fact so people were not getting into trouble for unwittingly doing something they are not supposed to do.
