How do i increase my traffic quickly

i Have several websites which receive traffic, but i am looking to increase the traffic, which i am sure is everyones goal. I have some good positions in serps but they are not generating as much traffic as i was expecting, i use ppc but it is expensive, i have tried buying so called traffic which are pop-unders/overs and they do not seem to work, i am looking to increase the number of applications we get, ideally on a cost per application basis or to buy actual traffic which is not pop under etc, so my questions are these:

Are there companies that offer cost per application in the finance field?

is it possible to buy traffic which is genuine traffic from a search company which is specific? and does it convert?

Which is the best way to go?

any suggestion would be welcome

dont just buy traffic. if you intend to spend money in short term traffic, go and buy from adwords. else just get some good related site's link by buying or link exchange.

 

Linkbaiting and video marketing are few method to generate quick traffic.

 

The quickest way to get massive traffic is using digg. If you have lots of friends on digg ask them to digg your stories. If you don't have friends then strat making some.

 

if you have financial application, try to do affiliate marketing. generally i think, to get sustainable traffic quickly is rather difficult. you need to grow slowly and have some patience.

 

I will say just concentrate on search engines they can give you massive amount of traffic with free of cost and for long duration.

 

First concentrate building your website content around the theme of your url and niche in which you are present, and then let the SE crawl them.. this is help you in gaining organic traffic.

 

If your "good serp positions" do not bring you visitors, there are three possible explanations:
1) Your title and description are not well-written and people do not feel compelled to click them.
2) Your site does not match the expectations of people searching for the terms, you rank for.
3) People do not use your search terms enough. And you should focus on being ranked for some other keywords.

Try and change number 1 first.

 

I think it is best to post your website everywhere where it is allowed. On various forums about the topics of your site, on various site showcase forums, multiple web directories, etc... the more you put your website out there, more refferal clicks you will get. The next big thing is SEO, optimize your website for search engines! There is alot of literature and articles about this on the internet for free, so look up some and read them. I think they will help you get alot more search engine traffic.
Buying and paying for traffic should be a last restor imo.

 

Get Traffic Without Spending on PPC ? Simple

If you hate to write maybe it's time you learn to love it because writing articles is an awesome and surefire way to get traffic to your website. Writing isn't hard, just write about your experiences, knowledge and just type as if you were talking to a friend, show your personality, and if you dont have one, fake it. Alternatively you can hire a freelance writer to write the article for you if you're willing to spend some money.

Keep the article short and to the point and keep them wanting more. Too long an article and the reader will most likely get bored and not even get to your website link at the bottom of the article... ugh lazy people. Make sure you article title is catchy and has good keywords in it. Ezinearticles.com and Articlesbase.com are 2 good ones

Yes, I was going to say social bookmarking and networking with others. Also write and submit some articles.

 

An important part that many people forget to mention is that as great as the social networks are, the traffic comes in waves. Sure you can get thousands of visitors for a few days but then they are gone. You need to make them come back.

Therefore I think it is very important to market your feeds or newsletters on your site to do everything to get some of those visitors to come back.
