How do i increase my blog traffic? Help me!

Hello all, I am Salsan from India. I have a blog(discusstech.org) which is dedicated to the technology. Its been almost 5 months after i started my blog. I used to post 1 article per week. My problem is i am only getting 200 unique and 300 page views per day. I am trying to increase it but not happening. It has lots of back links to support in Google. Please somebody tell me some ideas to promote the blog. any ideas would be appreciated.

Guys i am happy now. Now i am getting 500 unique visitors and near 750 page views on my website. 90 percent of the traffic is from Google is the interesting fact. I still adding weekly 1 article only and building back-links daily.

 

That is alot of traffic! Just focus on SEO, and more people will come

 

You already have the answer. What did you do to get it to 200 UV per day?? Write down that process and just repeat it over and over.

Your blog is nice and informative as well. you have included forum also in your blog this is good, but on forum 200 visits is very low.. basically blog is a part of information and updates which you post in a week which is best.. You should invite people to come to your forum and start discussion on the topic, share there problems on the topic you have given like Problems with DTH, tata sky type... And for invitation you can use Social media..

You can invite people through networking sites like facebook, twitter, linkeIn to come and use ur forum to discusse there problems and experiences..

I will advise you to do SEO. SEO is the effective and useful way to promote your website, get traffic,get many backlinks. Another useful way to increase your blog traffic is with the help of social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook.....

traffic come from content / material .. so try to put more and more content .. you will get more traffic..

To promote, you should use Twitter, FaceBook and other social networking websites.

You can also build back links in technology forums, using your anchor text and link in your signature or buy ads on tech related sites from members at DP.

do what you have been doing. Sounds like you got good unique content for 200 a day. Next do articles, Do follow forum and blog comments related to your niche if possiable. Do A facebook fan page while its no follow its still a great source of traffic.

 

1 post per week? Hmm, try adding more unique content. If you can do it daily then better. Actually 200 visitors for a 5 month old blog is not bad. Just as Stack was saying, repeat the process plus add more content then you'll be getting more sooner or later.. Good Luck!

 

200 isn't bad at all in 5 months. I think you should focus on posting more targeted articles with better focus on keywords, and post articles more frequently. Also keep building those links and the traffic will go up.

Your blog needs proper SEO. AS you are having 200 Uv that means you are doing your work. You just need to increase your marketing. Use web 2.0 or link wheels
