How do i implement Keywords using Joomla?

Hey everyone, I am new to the whole adsense idea, and already really motivated to start earning a little bit of money. I have been doing a whole lot of research on the topic.

First question, i run a Joomla Based Website.

Alot of people mention to use keywords in your website.

Now i know in Joomla, when you create an article, you have the option on the right hand side under MetaTagging to add Keywords/Description etc...is this the only area where i need to add the keywords? or will i need to make it more dense by adding the keyword into the article itself?

Also how do i separate keywords, say i have "replacing television" and "how to turn on tv" are they separated by spaces, or ; or next line?

Also, in the global config within Joomla, you have the option to change the metadata for the whole website, should i change anything in here?

One last question:

Once i have added my keywords, do i need to resubmit my sitemap for the googlebots to crawl and learn the new keywords i have implemented?

Joomla is a best CMS. There is a place to add keyword and description in each article, you can add two or three keywords and description over there.
In general, inserting too many keywords in a article is not a healthy SEO. In a page content, your keyword phrase should not be more than 5% of the total words.

 

Not tried Joomla yet but I think you can add description on your pages as what goldfish said.

 

So i just need to add the keywords into the keyword field within the article and joomla does the rest?

Should i ever adjust the Global Index Metatags/Keyword?

Also, once i added keywords, do i need to do anything so Google will crawl my website?
