How do I give someone access to modify my settings through WHM?

I have WHM and Cpanel on my dedicated server. Is there a way to give them access to change this? I dont want then to have access to everything either.

    Edit your httpd.conf file.

    Hello there,

You would need to give them root access, which means they would have full access to the server. Another possible way to do this is with a program like TeamViewer, where you would let them control your screen/mouse, and you would be able to see exactly what they are doing.

    Regards,
    Chris

Don't give root access. It's better to create a reseller via WHM and give full access and allow him to make changes on a server via su.

TeamViewer is also a good idea.

create sudo user and provide them limited access which does not include root access or provide hem jail shell access.

Its always better to give teamviewer access to avoid any further problems, so that you can monitor the changes made by your developer or support tech :)
