How do I get traffic to my site without spending a fortune?

a few ideas:

local newspapers - try getting an ad in the part-time job section.

local playgroups, nurseries, etc. - organise an event for parents, or a special trip, become a "speaker" for parents groups and use this to promote your web site.

join online parenting communities - there are a lot of them - promote your site as much as you can without spamming.

also, I *highly* advise making the site more personal. do this by including pictures of yourself or you with your children - they don't have to be professional, however your target audience will *really really* warm to the site more. what made me say this is your impersonal contact us page.

 

I think bum marketing should be good. Hey, I am also trying to get traffic to my site.

 

I agreed with what most of the marketer said here, posting article is the best way to get targeted traffic.
