How do I get the link only?

Hi, I've just got an Amazon Associates account.

For the last 24 hours I've been testing it and have decided against using Amazons own HTML link, instead i would like to make my own ad/graphic and link it to the amazon page. I'm using Dreamweaver so all i need to do is link the images but don't know how to get the basic text link. ANY help would be great as I'm lost

You must go to your Amazon Account and find link&banner menu. You will found many links to use.

 

No that's not what a mean. I want to make a graphic of my own(better looking than Amazons) and just add a link to it I.e http://www.amazon.co.uk/product/myid if that makes sense?

I have this picture and all i want to do is link this image to this page amazon.co.uk/Michael-Jackson-Black-T-shirt-Small/dp/B0032Z86TW/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=clothing&qid=1281881313&sr=1-5 but with my affiliate id so I'm still earning from it through my account.

 

You must login fist in order to get link including your affiliate.

OK i logged in again, clicked get link, got the little html link then clicked that to go to the page of the item and this is the URL in my browser amazon.co.uk/dp/B0032Z86TM?tag=m0bb-21&camp=2902&creative=19466&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B0032Z86TM&adid=09HVA0QKZ7JW3JANEMPZ& is this the correct link?

 

If m0bb-21 is your affiliate ID, than that is correct.

 

And that will definatly work the same if i use my own ads/pictures?
