    There are many methods and there are books published on this subject. In short you need good content inside and good content outside of the page.

    It will be a long process to be top on Google but the key to this is hard work, try to use SBM method or forum posting, blog commenting this will help you to achieve your goal.

    Be consistent with anchor text and backlink urls.
