How Do I Get Targeted Ads From Adsense?

Discussion in 'Google' started by Xenos, Aug 31, 2008.

Today I bought the domain http://www.theshield.info for a proxy site. My question is, "How can I make the ads on the site be proxy related, rather than ads from the TV show?"

Another question since I'm already here. Can there be any legal trademark action against me by affiliates of the television show? My understanding is as long as the site doesn't pertain to the show then there is no grounds for legal repercussions.

Thanks for reading and possibly responding.

no legal groundsbased on a domain name only. If you dont have copyrigthed content you are ok.

You can specify which sites you like your ads to appear.

In order to show only targeted ads in adsense related to your niche, you can implement section targeting provided that you have a lot of contents available. Or else, you just have to manually filter out the ads using competitive ads filter in your adsense account.

Put proxy related content to the site, then ads will be targetet. No trademark problems imo.

AdWords is smart enough to match the content of your website. So if it just finds info about proxies, then it should show proxy related ads. It can take a little bit of time for the ads to switch content. Make sure you mention proxies in key areas on the site though: page title, meta description, meta keywords, page text, image alt text, etc. Just don't overdo it.

Bold terms that you want ads to display - but don't go crazy with that. Make it make sense, and don't get cought doing anything overkill. Remove "the shield" more and add more proxies.

their are few lines which you can add new by content than ads will be displayed related to them but in proxy you don't have anything written , which ads you will focus on . Go to google adword keyword tool and search for words like proxy and get some alternatives , use them in your template , may be this will help you .
